Another year draws to a close, and as per usual, it is a good time to reflect and plan. You might be asking, "How was 2025 for Tad Physio?"
Overall 2025 was a solid year of growth and progress for our little old clinic if I do say so myself…. While it’s hard to rank a whole year, we’ve made significant improvements in patient care and clinic efficiency.
Upgrading the Clinic & Going Digital
The clinic is looking smarter with a sleek new "backroom"—a space patients never see but that I know is working well. (The new dinky, coffee machine also helps a lot….)
Paperless Records: Having made the move to all electronic records nearly 4 years ago we have slowly been able to chuck out (well actually take to a shredding company) the mountains of notes that have been stockpiling. We have over 5000 patients on our database but are still required to store notes for a long period before getting rid of them…
Decluttering: In an internet-, and shortly to be AI-, dominated world who really traipses back through scrall in margins from a course they did 10 years ago?….not me anyway…. I have either remembered it or I will have to learn anew but either way the reduction in clutter is a net positive for me.
A Focus on Management & Training
Perhaps the biggest change has been embracing the admin side of the business. After nearly 14 years of being ‘the boss’, I am finally starting to act and feel like ‘The Boss!’… Earlier this year, I attended funded courses on:
· Business Development
· Social Media Marketing
· Clinic Management
· As well as the usual clinical updates (Running Conference, Shockwave Symposium, etc…)
Meet the Team: Staff Updates
Staffing-wise, we remain permanently thankful to our stalwarts:
· Liane, Emma, and Andy (and occasionally Hannah!)
We have also warmly welcomed new faces to the team:
· Andrew, Jo, and kinda-sorta Steph.
Looking Ahead: Plans for 2026
We have big plans for the coming year, including:
1. Clinic Improvements: More internal cosmetic updates, actually the bathroom which again isn’t frequently frequented by most folks but is in need of a refresh...
2. Pricing: A minor, overdue price adjustment to sustain our high standards.
3. New Services: A possible residential Chronic Pain Retreat in cahoots with KF Fitness is in the pipeline. Watch this space….
4. Charity Work: We'll come out all guns-a-blazin' fundraising for 2026 Charity of the Year- CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably).
5. New Website: Now that we have a spankingly new website I can adorn and adjust at will and so will let the creativity flow. https://www.tadcasterphysio.co.uk/
A Final Note for 2026
I hope 2026 treats you well and that you strive to be strong and healthy. But remember—if you do come a cropper, give us a bell. We are here, ready to get you back to doing what you love.
